Ok everybody else is alot cleverer than me and has worked out how to put links on! If I was clever I woulf have put a link of the Chilean miners release. Absoloutly amazing the work and complete determination of the engineers who for 17 days solid drilled without even knowing if anybody was still alive down there. But on the otherside having discussed this with someone, they made a very good point, he said: "We as a human race are strange, they spent so much money, millions of pounds and days of work on saving these men, which of course they should. But no one is spending millions of pounds on the thousands of people who die down mines each year in China." This discussion opened my eyes and just made me realise that it's true we spend millions of pounds on saving people when disaster and tragedy occurs, but what about the long term tragedys? Like the people starving in Africa, and The Soldiers dying through lack of equipment, hostages which have been held for over decades and many other issues. Have we just forgotten that they are tragedies because they have gone on for so long?
